Sometimes it seemed like they purposely introduced bugs to entice people to upgrade. I've been using Quicken for as long as I can remember. When that day comes, and trust me, it's not that far away, look out Quicken - they'll eat your lunch! I believe there is a VAST MARKET for a Quicken replacement provided that the software wasn't glitchy and customer service really cared. They lost me as a happy customer in 1999 and I haven't refereed people to the software since then and it's a real shame for them. At this time, Quicken 2020 is the least crappy accounting software I've seen - but I assure you, if something better were to come along (subtle hint to the programmers out there), I have ZERO loyalty to Quicken. I do not mind paying for something that works, I do mind paying for something that's crap. So, the two-year 'subscription' I purchased yesterday is only apparently me buying some more time as I search for a replacement, or convince someone to create one! But that's always been the Quicken promise: "You'll only hear from us when we want money!, and don't bother complaining because we're NOT listening!" So, here I am - paid nearly $100 for the same crap with NEW bugs. When in full-screen mode, I could not change to another process nor start up the windows menu - it would just sit there as if frozen.

One of the new bugs included: Quicken 2020 took control of my computer, going back and forth into full-screen (read: no Windows taskbar) and then back to maximised window a few times when I was doing an "update" to balance my accounts. The only thing "new and improved" about Quicken 2020 is they have put the software in a "wrapper" (or shell) that ensures you PAID your pound of flesh to Quicken before starting up what appears to be Quicken 2017, with all the bugs and glitches - PLUS a few NEW ONES!

I was hopeful that after I upgraded to "Quicken 2020" yesterday that they would have at least fixed SOME of the bugs.
